Charles "Bud" Schroding , 82, of 729 Golf Road, Tamaqua, died Wednesday at Lehigh Valley Hospital , Allentown.
Born in Mill Creek, December 17, 1933, He was a son of the late Lewis and Elizabeth (Jones) Schroding
He was a 1951 Graduate of Pottsville Area High School. Bud was a sportsman whether playing, coaching or being a spectator.
Charles served in the Air Force during the Korean War
He was a member of St. Peter Union Church, Tamaqua.
Bud was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Lewis, Robert and Edward Schroding.
Surviving are his wife of 61 years Doris (Hinkle) Schroding; son Charles Schroding and his wife Carol of Souderton; daughter Lynne Bridi and her husband Michael of Cary, Il; son Mark Schroding and his wife Rose of Hatfield; daughter Meribeth Schroding and her husband Stanley Yelito of Pennsburg; 2 sisters Celine Moyer of Frackville and Thelma Powell of Mill Creek, , 9 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren; Nieces and Nephews
Funeral Services will be held at Noon Saturday from Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home, 110 North Second Street St. Clair with Rev. Cheryl Moore officiating . Friends may call from 11:00 AM – Noon Saturday at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Peter Union Church Memorial Fund 184 St. Peter's Road, Tamaqua, PA 18252. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, St. Clair.
