Alice M. Haluska, 87, of 332 South Mill Street, Saint Clair, died Tuesday surrounded by her loving family at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Allentown.
Born in Saint Clair, January 21, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Lydia Stonelake Honicker.
She was graduate of Saint Clair High School.
Alice worked in the garment industry prior to becoming a mother and was affectionately known as "Aunt Alice" to everyone.
She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Saint Clair.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis M. Haluska, on May 23, 2010; 3 sisters, Catherine Morrow, Doris Robinson and Clara Sirock; 5 brothers, William, Raymond, Errol, Thomas and James Honicher.
Surviving are 3 daughters, Debra M. Haluska and Dana M. Haluska of Saint Clair and Alicia Smith and her husband, Charles, Pottsville; 3 grandchildren, Dustin and his companion Ashley, Sienna and Shane Smith; great-grandson Carter M Haluska; Sister Emma Jean Kulpcavage, Schuylkill Haven; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday from Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home, 110 North Second Street, Saint Clair, with the Rev. Donald Boyd officiating. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Saint Clair.
