Dennis David "Ab" Hinchey Sr., 60, of 430 Nichols St., Pottsville, formerly of St. Clair died Tuesday December 15, 2015 at his home.
Born in Pottsville, June 5, 1955, He was a son of the Rita (Donaldson) Hinchey of St. Clair and the late Raymond Hinchey.
He was a 1974 graduate of St. Clair High School.
Dennis was of the catholic faith last being a member of the former St. Mary RCC.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by brother Daniel Hinchey;
Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife of 27 years Mary Ann (McGinley) Hinchey; 2 Sons Dennis D. Hinchey Jr. of Pottsville; David J. Hinchey of Pottsville; 3 brothers Raymond Hinchey of Gettysburg; Edward "Ted" Hinchey and his wife Terry of Cumbola; and Robert Hinchey and his wife Lisa of St. Clair; a sister Kathy Dempsey and her husband Tom of St. Clair; Niece and Nephews; his beloved Cats Simba, Bandit and Shadow;
A Memorial Service will be held at 8:00 PM Tuesday from Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home, 110 North Second Street St. Clair with Msgr. William F. Glosser officiating. Friends may call from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hillside SPCA PO Box 233 Pottsville, PA 17901.
