Donald R. Troutman, 79, of Bridgewater, N.J., died peacefully surrounded by his devoted wife and loving son Thursday May 24, 2017 at home.
Born April 4, 1938, in Girardville, he was a son of the late Daniel and Catherine Troutman, Girardville.
He served in the Army from 1961-63.
Donald started working for Johns-Manville in 1956 until he retired in 1986. He also retired from Sanofi-Adventis in 2004 and from Wegman's in 2014.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jean Ann Troutman, Bridgewater, N.J.; a sister, Mary Joan Gormas, Girardville; four brothers, Daniel Troutman Jr., Lavelle, Harold Troutman, Girardville, Francis Troutman, Old Bridge, N.J., and Kenneth Troutman, Ashland.
Surviving are his second wife, Balbina Troutman, Bridgewater, N.J.; a son, Donald R. Troutman Jr. and his wife, Diane Troutman, Las Vegas, Nev.; grandchildren, Zackary and Marlee Troutman, Las Vegas; two sisters, Annette Helock, Chapin, S.C., and Dorothy Lopez, Clearwater, Fla.
A memorial service will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday May 30, 2017 at Nice-Hart Funeral Home, 9 N. Lehigh Ave., Frackville. The Rev. Robert Finlan will be officiating. Friends may call from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment with military honors will be held at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Frackville.
