Eugenia “Jeannie” Tyrrell

Eugenia “Jeannie” Tyrrell , 73, of Frackville, died Monday June 27, 2016 in Frackville.

Born in West Mahonoy Township, December 20, 1942, She was a daughter of the late Joseph and Eugenia (O'Donnell) Halaburda.

She retired having worked as a Receptionist at Regency Thermographics, Hazleton, PA.

Jeannie was a member of St. John the Baptist Polish National Catholic Church, Frackville, Frackville Elks Lodge # 1533 where she served as the Chair of Memorial Service, Past Chaplin, Past District Chaplin, Past State Chaplin and she was a member of the Puritan Chapter 126 Order of the Eastern Star, Mahanoy City.

She was preceded in death by her first husband William Piculich, her second husband James Tyrrell, 2 brothers Joseph Halaburda Jr. in 1980  and David  Halaburda in 2014;

Surviving are one brother Leonard Halaburda, Frackville, 2 sisters Carol Billus and her husband Anthony of Frackville, Dolores Halaburda of Tremont, and a fiancé Lance Nelson, Frackville.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday from St. John the Baptist Polish National Catholic Church, 2nd & Oak Street Frackville.  Friends may call from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM Friday and 8:30 – 9:30 Saturday at the Nice- Hart Funeral Home, Inc. 9 North Lehigh Ave., Frackville.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Elks National Foundation C/O Frackville Elks Lodge# 1533, 307 West Arch Street , Frackville, PA 17931. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Polish National Cemetery, West Mahanoy Twp.
