Frances A. Wixted , 80, formerly of Mill Creek , died Tuesday at Manor Care Health Services, Pottsville.
Born in East Norwegian Twp., April 2, 1935, She was a daughter of the late George and Bridget (Campion) Dimmerling.
She was a member of St. Stephen Roman Catholic Church, Port Carbon, PA
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Bernard Wixted, on Oct. 12, 2014; a daughter Sharon Wixted; a brother George " Dinger" Dimmerling and a sister Rose Marie Diamond Barrett.
Surviving are 2 sons James Wixted and his wife Laura of Fountain Springs; Michael Wixted of Harrisburg; 1 daughter Marie Schuler and her husband Jeff of Mountain Top; 1 brother James Dimmerling of Dieners Hill;1 sister Eleanor Ryan of St. Clair; 2 Grandchildren, James Wixted and Megan Wixted, nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Monday July 20, 2015 from St. Stephen Roman Catholic Church, 218 Valley Street Port Carbon. The Rev. Edward Connoly will be officiating. . Friends may call from 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM Monday at the Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hillside SPCA PO Box 233 Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Hanover Twp .
