Henry "Hank" Czebieniak, 93, of 102 N. Spencer St., Frackville, died Saturday at Shenandoah Senior Living Community.
Born in Frackville, March 5, 1925, he was a son of the late Andrew and Josephine Denchak Czebieniak.
Henry served in the Navy in World War II, then worked as an engineer in the Merchant Marine and retired from Air Products, Tamaqua.
He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Frackville, where he was a deacon and their oldest member.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Kellett Czebieniak, in 2010; two brothers, Terry Czebieniak and Adolph Czebieniak.
Surviving are three sisters, Jeannie Stoltz, Schuylkill Haven, Cecilia Kamieniecki, Pottsville, and Florence Walton, Cressona; brother, Walter Czebieniak, Warren, Mich.; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday from Nice-Hart Funeral Home Inc., 9 N. Lehigh Ave., Frackville. Pastor Frank Dellinger will be officiating. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 139 S. Centre St., Frackville, PA 17931. Burial with military honors will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Frackville. Nice-Hart Funeral Home Inc., Frackville, is in charge of arrangements.
