Joel Cooper, 37, of St. Clair, died Wednesday March 29, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his family.
Born in Pottsville, January 15, 1986, He was a son of Richard Cooper of St. Clair and Alice (Cartwright) Reed and her husband Charles of St. Clair.
He was a graduate of Pottsville Area High School and worked in food preparation and McDonald’s Pottsville.
Joel enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an avid bowler, a member of US Bowling Congress and especially loved participating in Bowl for Kid’s Sake. He also participated in Magic Card Tournaments.
In addition to his parents he is survivied by a brother Clinton Cooper of St. Clair; Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 PM Tuesday April 4, 2023from Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home, 110 North Second Street St. Clair, PA 17970 with The Rev. Jack Murray officiating. Friends may call from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, PO Box 862, Carnegie, PA 15106. Joel was a great person whom also loves fishing like me we both show off pics and fishing stories worked together I going to miss all fishing tags god bless him all I can say the fish don’t have to hind from one of best fisherman anymore god has him in greatest fishing lake heaven god bless

Just a few short words – Joel was a good person!!! Even I worked with him a short period of time i remember him always being a good friend and excellent team member. And knowing my love to heavy metal, Joel shared a lot of his favorite bands to my fcbk.
