John Petrachonis, 62, of 17 E. Franklin St., Saint Clair, died Monday at his home.
Born in Shenandoah, Nov. 25, 1951, he was a son of Felix and Anastasia Barno Petrachonis.
John served in the Army during the Vietnam War .
He was a mechanic at Pet Brothers, Shenandoah.
John loved his family, cruises, beaches, hosting holiday parties and riding his Harley.
Loved by his family, he will be greatly missed.
Surviving are his wife of 36 years, Mary C. Salmon Petrachonis; four children, Katie Petrachonis, Los Angeles, Calif., John Petrachonis and his wife, Michelle, Tampa, Fla., Annie Petrachonis and her fiance, Sean Huff, Harrisburg, and James Petrachonis, Saint Clair; a grandson, Jordan Huff; two brothers, Felix (Cherie) and Frank Petrachonis, Shenandoah; a sister, Anna (Jay) McNamara, Susquehanna; brothers-in-law, James (Mary) and John (Jill) Salmon; sister-in-law, Terry (Al) Owens; nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home, with the Rev. William Glosser officiating. Friends may call from 10 until time of services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests blood donations be made in John's memory to the American Red Cross. Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home, 110 N. Second St., Saint Clair, PA 17970, is in charge of arrangements.
