Larry Amber

Laurence "Larry" Amber, 62, of 32 S. Wylam St., Frackville, died Tuesday at his residence. Born in Frackville, Aug. 10, 1952, he was a son of the late Napoleon and Mildred Brode Ambromovage. Larry was a cement finisher at Nyleve Bridge Corp. and a member of the United Steel Workers Union 15253 and Laborers Local 158. He was of the Catholic faith. He was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Ambromovage. Surviving are a companion, Beverly Hoy Hunger, Frackville; his wife, Janet Hess, Pottsville; a stepdaughter, Christine Fritz, Fort Wayne, Ind.; and a stepson, Zachary Fritz, Frackville. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday from Nice-Hart Funeral Home Inc., 9 N. Lehigh Ave., Frackville. The Rev. Robert Finlan will be officiating. Friends may call from 9 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Ruth Steinert Memorial SPCA, P.O. Box 332, Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Frackville. –
