Pearl “Bunny” Rubright 70, of 329 North Mill Street, St. Clair, died Sunday at Schuylkill Medical Center-East Norwegian St., Pottsville.

 

Born in St. Clair, March 31, 1944, She was a daughter of the late George  and Pearl Wineland Rubright.

 

Bunny worked as a seamstress for several area garment factories including Van Heusen, Millers, Alpha Mills, City Shirt and Irene's along with sewing costumes for the Schuylkill Ballet Theatre.   She was also a master cake decorator.

 

She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, St. Clair

 

She was preceded in death by 2 sisters Martha Rubright and  Lois Hossler and her husband Ed; 2 brothers George "Sonny" Rubright and his wife Celie;  Charles Rubright and his wife Barb; brother in law Walter Kocur and a great nephew Cole Griesbaum.

 

Surviving are 2 sisters Doris "Dolly" Rubright, St. Clair and sister Gladys "Joyce" Kocur, Lake Wynonah;   Many Nieces and Nephews including Melissa Bubeck, Helen Kocur, Dorrine Griesbaum  and Dr. Lori Kocur-Wilde; goddaughter Sheri Ditzler; Special friends Sadie Wetzel, Jean Heffner, Debbie Walters and Scott Clews.

 

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday from Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home, 110 North Second Street St. Clair with Rev. Kerry Smart  officiating.  Friends may call from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM Friday the funeral home. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, St. Clair .
