Vincent R. Wade, 84, of St. Clair, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at LVHN-Schuylkill, Pottsville, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Pottsville, August 6, 1938, he was a son of the late Harold and Anna (Post) Wade.
He was a 1957 graduate of Nativity B.V.M. High School. He retired from Howell’s Tire Service in Pottsville after 27 years.
Vincent was a member of St. Clare of Assisi and the former St. Boniface R.C. Churches in St. Clair. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather whose greatest joy in life was being with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers; Joseph, William, Stephen, Edward and Leonard Wade and a sister Dolores Barnes.
Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Mary B. (Quirin) Wade; 2 daughters Marie Ryan and her husband Joseph of Pottsville; Angela Morgan and her husband Matthew of Cressona; son Mark Wade and his wife Samantha of Burke, VA; Grandchildren Megan and Madison Ryan; Nicholas, Grace and Luke Morgan; Kaitlyn and Ashley Wade; brother Patrick Wade; sisters Joanne Everdale, Mary Troutman and Loretta Snitzer; Nieces and Nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am Thursday April 20, 2023 from St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, 250 E. Hancock St. St. Clair, PA 17970 with Msgr. William Glosser officiating; Friends may call from 6:00-8:00pm Wednesday and 9:30-10:30am Thursday at the Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home, 110 N. 2nd St. St. Clair, PA 17970. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Clare of Assisi Memorial Fund at the above address or the St. Clair Historical Society, 24 North Nichols St., Saint Clair PA. Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery, Arnot’s Addition.
