Bernard Milyo

May 21, 2013 Bernard Milyo Sr, 69, of Frackville died Tuesday at his home. Bernard was born in Heckschersville, September 30, 1943, He was a son of the late Michael Sr. and Helen (Mullock) Milyo. He was a member of Annunciation Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, Frackville; Life Member of both the Duncott and South Cass Fire Co. He was formerly employed as a construction worker. Bernard was an avid hunter and fisherman. In addition to his parents, Bernard was preceded in death by a brother George Milyo Sr. and a sister Helen Kellman. Surviving are his wife Shirley (Harviletz) Milyo; a son Bernard Milyo Jr. and his wife Ann of Ludowici, GA; daughter Brenda Wessner and her husband Ed of Cressona; 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 2 brothers Michael Milyo Sr. and his wife Helen of Lake Tapps, WA; William Milyo Sr. and his wife Gerri of Llewellyn; 1 sister Mary Hughes and her husband John of Millersburg; sister-in-law Florence Milyo of Newark, DE; Nieces and Nephews Funeral Services will be held at 9:30 AM Tuesday from Nice- Hart Funeral Home, Inc., 9 N. Lehigh Ave Frackville. Mass of Christian burial will follow 10:00 AM from Annunciation BVM RC Church with Rev. Robert Finlan officiating. . Friends may call from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM Monday and 9:00 AM – 9:30 AM Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Cancer Society , 101 W. Frack St., Frackville, PA 17931. Burial will be in Annunciation Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery, Englewood.
