Frederick J. Kushwarra , 82, of 212 South Spencer Street, Frackville, passed away Thursday at his residence with family members at his side.
Born in West Mahanoy Twp., January 7, 1935, He was a son of the late John and Kathryn (Stetz) Kushwarra.
Fred retired from the former Tamaqua Cable, Schuylkill Haven, PA.
He was a member of the Altamont Fire Company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and grand children.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a granddaughter Cori Kushwarra, 2 brothers Edward and John Kushwarra and one sister Josephine Kushwarra.
Surviving are his wife of 60 years Mary Anne (Kahudic) Kushwarra, 2 sons Fred Kushwarra and his wife Ann Marie of Frackville; John Kushwarra and his wife Carolyn of Pottsville; 1 brother Michael Kushwarra married to Joan, Kendall Park, NJ; and three grandchildren Kevin, John and Alan Kushwarra and nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday from St. Joseph the Worker Parish – St. Ann’s Church, 49 N. Line St. Frackville, Pa. The Rev. Robert Finlan will be officiating. . Friends may call from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM at the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Butler Twp.
