Born in Shenandoah, May 28, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Leo and Louise Schistle Spor.
Jean worked at the former Model Garment factory, Frackville, and was a library aide at the Frackville Free Public Library.
She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Frackville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Caton; and two sisters, Theresa Sabitsky and Dolores Schiffert.
Surviving are a daughter, Judy Baum and her husband, Barry, Schuylkill Haven; a son, George Caton, Frackville; two granddaughters, Amy Ruppert and Krista Burke; a grandson, David Baum; and two great-grandchildren, Isabella Louise and Zachary.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family from Nice-Hart Funeral Home Inc., 9 N. Lehigh Ave., Frackville. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Frackville Free Public Library, 56 N. Lehigh Ave., Frackville, PA 17931. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Frackville.
