Melvin J. Hasenauer Sr, 76, of 1095 Long Run Rd., Pine Grove, died Thursday August 27, 2015 at Select Specialty Hospital, Harrisburg.
Born in Pottsville, September 23, 1938, He was a son of the late Melvin and Thelma Fischer Hasenauer.
He retired from Alcoa, Cressona and worked for Cabela's in Hamburg.
Melvin was a member of First Primitive Methodist Church of St. Clair.
Surviving are his wife Ruth Hasenauer 3 sons Melvin Jr. of Jonestown; Erik of Schuylkill Haven; Dan of Lemoyne; 2 daughters, Trudy Hasenauer of Oakland, CA, Jill Armenise of Pine Grove; and 10 grandchildren.
Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday from Grace Evangelical Congregational Church, 15 Earl Stoyer Drive. Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972. The Rev. Rev. Ted Rathman will be officiating. . Friends may call from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM Tuesday at the Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Grace Evangelical Congregational Church Memorial Fund.
