Russell C. Davis Sr. 78, of 134 Quality Hill Road, Giblerton, died Saturday, September 21, at Broad Mountain Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Frackville PA.
Born in Gilberton, December 9, 1934, He was a son of the late Thomas and Bertha (Chappell) Davis.
He was an Electrician at the former Zapata Industries, Frackville.
Russell was a member of Gilberton United Methodist Church, Gilberton; Frackville Masonic Lodge #737, Park Crest Fish and Game and a Lifetime member of the NRA.
Surviving are his wife Susan (Blackwell) Davis, a daughter Lisa Seresky and her husband David of Ringtown, 2 sons Russell Davis of Gilberton and Mark Davis and his wife Paula of Ashland, 3 granddaughters Kristy Davis of Tamaqua, Olivia and Rachel Sereskyof Ringotwn, niece Jennifer Capone and a sister-in-law Linda Zimmerman and her husband James, and his dog companion Holly.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday from Nice- Hart Funeral Home, Inc 9 North Lehigh Ave, Frackville, PA 17931. Friends may call from 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Masonic Service will be at 10:15. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hillside SPCA, 51 Spca Rd , Pottsville, PA 17901. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, West Mahanoy Twp.
