Stephen A. Rennick, 93, of 14 East Caroline Ave, St. Clair, died Monday at Luther Ridge Nursing Home, pottsville. Born in St. Clair, May 9, 1921, He was a son of the late John and Elizabeth (Kobige) Rennick. Steve was a corporal in the Army, and served in WWII. He was a retired foreman, having worked for several area construction companies. Stephen was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, St. Clair, PA; Vietnam Veterans' Home Association, Shoentown; St. Clair Fish & Game Association, and avid Notre Dame Fan. He was preceded in death by his wife Helen (Smyk) Rennick in 1978; a grandson Jeff Tohill; 4 brothers John, Joseph, Michael and George Rennick; 5 sisters Mildred Cummings, Margaret Reilly, Anna Tokash, Elizabeth Poltanavage and Dorothy Maletz. Surviving are son Robert Rennick and his wife Karen of St. Clair; Stephen Rennick and his wife Chris of St. Clair; a daughter Helen Tohill and her husband James of Port Carbon, 5 grandchildren Michelle Kearns, Jennifer Thomas, James Tohill, Elizabeth Bush and Amanda Rennick; 7 great grandchildren Madison and Jacob Thomas; Kylie, Morgan, Aspen and Carter Tohill; Rylie Bush. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Friday from Immaculate Conception Church, 6 Caroline Ave. St. Clair, PA 17970 with Msgr. William F. Glosser officiating. Friends may call from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Thursday and 9:00-10:00 Friday at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital , P.O. Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148. Burial with Military Honors will be in the Queen of the Universe Cemetery, Pottsville.
